GRUPO SIRO IS COMMITTED TO COGNITIVE INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING IN ITS INDUSTRIAL AND BUSINESS PROCESSES.
Grupo Siro has shared in the II Congress of Connected Industry 4.0, inaugurated by H.M. King Felipe VI and which has also had the participation of the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade, Reyes Maroto, the challenges and projects he is tackling in his commitment to the digital transformation of the agri-food industry.
Before nearly two thousand participants, the President of Grupo Siro, Juan Manuel González Serna and other directors of the Company, have presented the keys of their Digital Transformation process to become the most competitive distribution brand manufacturer and “to put on the shelves of our client, Mercadona, the products of the highest quality at the best possible price, within reach of all consumers”.
This process applies to all the links in its Value Chain, Agriculture, Industry and Customer, with three fundamental objectives: to guarantee the traceability of all its raw materials from the field to the table, to promote intelligent factories to obtain the highest levels of quality and efficiency and to apply cognitive intelligence to anticipate consumer demands.
Thus, it has advanced towards the introduction of new precision farming technologies that allow it to manage the main processes and control all variables remotely, have all this information in the cloud and guarantee traceability from field to table.
Another of its key projects is Fábrica Sin Papeles (Paperless Factory) which, in the words of Juan Manuel, “has been the key to initiating digital transformation in factories”. This has made it possible to simplify the processes, implement a standard quality control system in all the factories, and ensure the quality of the products. the plants, reduce management time in traceability control and know in real time the appropriate quality controls, among others.
Currently, they are making progress in the implementation of a production line sensorization project that will allow them to analyze and exploit all process variables and production processes in real time.
In addition, together with their innovation partner, i+dea, they are working on a cognitive intelligence tool that will allow them to anticipate consumption trends and consumer needs. All this, through the application of own algorithms, once obtained, processed and analyzed all the information that circulates in the network.
These are some of the most representative examples of 4.0 industry projects in which the Siro Group is immersed, which will result in greater efficiency and competitiveness for the Company and which have been shared today at the II Congress of Connected Industry 4.0, together with the projects of other leading companies such as Telefónica, Accenture, Siemens, AENOR and SEAT.
