We continue with #CerealtoStories, this time from Venta de Baños with the director of Industrial Development and Efficiency, Luis Marugán.

An Industrial Chemist specializing in Chemical Engineering, he joined Cerealto almost 20 years ago, in June 2006. Since then he has held different positions. Until 2016 he was Factory Manager at El Espinar, after which he was Operations Manager of the bakery factories and then Operations Manager of the cookie factories.

In 2020 he became Head of Strategic Projects in the Operations area and in 2022 he assumed his current position as Director of Industrial Development and Efficiency. This position encompasses the areas of project engineering, process engineering, continuous improvement and corporate maintenance.

Throughout his career with the company, Luis, a native of Madrid, married and father of two daughters - Lydia, 24, and Rocío, 20 - takes time out whenever he can for sports, cycling and hiking.

In addition, he combines his great hobbies: travel and getaways with family and friends, as well as attending rock concerts in bars and venues where several of his friends play.
