On 18 February the Asociación Palentina para el Apoyo a las Altas capacidades, joined forces with the chess club of Venta de Baños, to present the 1st APAC Provincial Chess Tournament for students with high abilities.

The event, which counted with the collaboration of the chess delegation of Palencia and the Town Hall of Venta de Baños, brought together the following participants more than 50 children in the cultural centre La Briquetera in Venta de Baños, Palencia.   

Cerealto, in its commitment to children's development and education, gave a gift to each participant in the infant, alevin, benjamin and prebenjamin categories. In addition, the 16 finalists won medals in different categories.
