Celebrating tradition and flavour in Baños de Cerrato!  

On 24 February, the XVI Slaughter of the Pig took place in Baños de Cerrato, an event which, thanks to the participation of locals and visitors, was a great success.  

At Cerealto we are proud to be able to collaborate year after year with the Town Council of Venta de Baños, the Department of Culture and the Provincial Council of Palencia to organise a day that preserves all the local traditions.  

From the morning tasting of pastries, orujo and mistela to the guided visits to the Basilica of San Juan de Baños, thank you all for making possible this festival that promotes the identity, heritage and gastronomy of Baños de Cerrato.
