Venta de Baños, May 22, 2026 – Cerealto, a leading manufacturer of cereal-based foods for brands and retailers worldwide, The company closed the 2025 fiscal year with sales of 574 million euros and recurring EBITDA of 53 million euros, consolidating its growth in a particularly challenging environment for the food industry.

Key figures and statistics for 2025

  • Cerealto reported revenue of 574 million euros in 2025, up 9.3% from the previous year.
  • Recurring EBITDA stood at 53 million euros, representing a 12% increase compared to 2024.
  • Between 2022 and 2025, the Company completed the largest investment cycle in its recent history, allocating more than 153 million euros to strengthen its industrial capabilities, accelerate innovation, and support its expansion.
  • 53 million euros will be invested in 2025 alone in key regions to expand production capacity, strengthen competitiveness, and support future growth.

Key strategic milestones for the fiscal year

Cerealto’s strong performance in 2025 reflects the Company’s ability to combine agility, flexibility, and industrial scale, helping its customers adapt to new consumer trends without compromising on quality or competitiveness. Currently, the Company works with some of the leading international retailers and brands, developing a wide range of cereal-based products, from cookies and bars to breakfast cereals and snacks.

The company’s performance for the fiscal year was driven by sustained growth in contract manufacturing, as well as ongoing investment in industrial capacity, innovation, and global expansion. Between 2022 and 2025, Cerealto completed the largest investment cycle in its recent history, allocating more than 153 million euros to strengthen its operations, expand production capacity, accelerate innovation, and enhance its industrial competitiveness in key markets.

Other key strategic milestones for the year include:

  • Market Presence: An agreement with Fresca Foods, a U.S.-based specialist in natural and organic snacks, that will strengthen Cerealto’s industrial presence in the United States and accelerate its expansion through new manufacturing capacity in the North American market.
  • Growth: signing of a €110 million syndicated loan to strengthen operational capabilities and support the Company’s long-term growth. The confidence shown by the financial institutions reflects the strength of Cerealto’s industrial strategy and the positive performance of the business in recent years. Sale of its pasta business and the manufacturing facility for these products, located in Venta de Baños (Palencia, Spain), to Cerealis, a company specializing in pasta. The transaction is part of Cerealto’s strategic decision to focus its efforts on the main product categories in which it operates: snacks and breakfast foods.
  • Product: A strong focus on innovation and the development of new products, particularly in strategic categories such as rice and corn cakes, snacks, and breakfast foods.
  • Sustainability: A cornerstone of its strategy, with key milestones such as: a 10.5% reduction in its carbon footprint compared to 2023, the installation of solar panels at its factories, and a nearly 6% reduction in water consumption.

Looking ahead, Cerealto hopes to build on its current momentum. It enjoys the continued support of its shareholders, Afendis and Davidson Kempner, and plans to invest an additional 75 million euros by 2026 across all the regions where it operates, focusing on expanding capacity and improving efficiency.

 

Promoting innovation and adapting to new consumer trends

Innovation remained one of the Company’s main drivers of growth. In 2025, Cerealto allocated 4.5 million euros to innovation projects and launched 277 products, 74 of which were new items.

Cerealto made progress in developing products aligned with health and nutrition trends, as well as formats tailored to today’s lifestyle for flexible consumption, including chia seed cookies, mini and on-the-go rice and corn cakes, oat-based and low-sugar products, protein- and fiber-rich products, and new cakes made with legumes.
