Madrid, October 24, 2019. The National Confederation of Special Employment Centers, CONACEE, recognized Cerealto Siro Foods at the XVII National Congress of Special Employment Centers for its continued commitment to the integration of people with disabilities and their work with the Special Employment Centers since its establishment.
The prize was collected by Josep Tura, Josep Tura, Chief of People & Organisation, Cerealto Siro, received the award. He was grateful and proud to remember the commitment of the founders of the Company with the social inclusion since 20 year ago, as well as the path travelled with our employees and the Community until now.
Cerealto Siro Foods is strongly committed to the development of the communities where it has a presence and the integration of people at risk of social exclusion, being one of the flags and identity symbols of the Company, which since 1997 collaborates with organizations and entities for labour inclusion of people at risk of social exclusion, within the framework of their Sustainable Social Commitment.
The Group has three special employment centers, located in Venta de Baños (Palencia, Castilla y León), Jaén (Andalucía) and Paterna (Valencia, Valencian Community) and more than 500 employees with disabilities, representing 11% of Workforce.
This meeting held in León brought together about 200 professionals, authorities and experts interested in the current situation of the Special Employment Centers and their future and had the Minister of Labour, Migration and Social Security, Magdalena Valerio.
The Congress is aimed at all the Special Employment Centers (CEE) and companies, and allows to make known the socio-labor situation of people with disabilities, aid and dealing with the Administration.
